About Us

Since 1990 Solo Service Group has grown to become one of the largest independent cleaning service providers in the UK. The Company was founded in 1990 by the Group’s Chief Executive Stephen Hammett. Its aim from the start has been to offer cleaning and associated services that exceed clients’ expectations. Solo, over the last 15 years has experienced both organic and growth by acquisition in all areas of the UK. Our Head Office in Swansea is supported by a regional office in Oldbury, West Midlands, and an infrastructure network of operational managers and support teams in all areas of the UK, providing local knowledge of the areas we operate within.

Despite the changing markets and challenges, Solo’s unique approach to specialised cleaning has allowed the business to stay current through innovative solutions to any problems that arise. It has secured both large and small contracts throughout many sectors providing flexibility and versatility to suit any organisation. Over the last 30 years the Company has increased its workforce to in excess of 4000 staff. The Company services many blue chip organisations in all areas of the country and across sectors such as retail, education, transportation, commercial and manufacturing to name but a few.
