About Us

If you genuinely believe in supporting the needs of young people, enjoy getting stuck-in and working as part of a team, then you will love it here at YG.

Our HQ is based in Gloucester City centre, a short walk from Gloucester Docks and the iconic Gloucester Cathedral. If you fancy a bit of culture on your lunch break you won’t have to look far.

We are a countywide charity – which means projects can be based anywhere in Gloucestershire. Depending on your job role you may be required to travel around, but at least you will get to see lots of the beautiful countryside and meet all the dynamic young people living in different areas.

What it’s like to work for us?

We are a lively bunch at YG and this is a vibrant place to work; full of young people coming and going, door bells ringing and radio’s playing. We regularly try to hold a ‘team meeting’ at the local pub and there is often a staff activity or event taking place; whether it’s a group walk, cycle or an afternoon at laser quest.
