About Us

Founded in 2012, The Nursery Family provides high quality care and education for children from 3 months to 5 years in our six nurseries located in West Sussex and Hampshire.

Through employing only the brightest and best practitioners and offering constant personal and professional development we are proud to have been rated Outstanding by Ofsted and awarded 10 out of 10 on the parent review site daynurseries.co.uk.

All of our nurseries are designed to be safe and secure environments that allow children to move around and enjoy the wide range of natural resources we offer. We love outdoor play and learning, that’s why we have developed outdoor classrooms to allow children to benefit from unlimited learning opportunities. Each of our nurseries serves delicious home cooked food everyday – we love our chefs and they love to cook.

We care for babies from 3 months old to pre-school children aged 5. Children are guided by their “Key Worker” here, a loving bond is formed and this is the person your child will speak about the most.

Our nursery practitioners and professionals assist children to overcome challenges, take risks, build friendships, develop new skills and care for one another.

Indoors or outdoors, education has few barriers in The Nursery Family where children are encouraged to make choices on how they learn – our role is to facilitate.

We want children to have fun, learn and feel loved and cared for today, but we always have an eye on tomorrow, so ensuring each child leaves us equipped for their next steps in education is a big deal – almost 90% of a child's brain develops by age 5.
