About Us

The Montessori People is an industry-leading Thornaby-based Nursery School employing a team of 30 staff and caring for over 120 children.

Our success today and future direction are rooted in our values, our ethos and our mission – all clearly delivered by a highly qualified and highly motivated staff. We put each child and their welfare first. For example, although the new statutory minimum staff:child ratio for 2-year-olds is 1:5, we are retaining 1:3 to maintain care quality and child safety.
