About Us

The Grace Eyre Foundation was founded in 1898 by social care pioneer Grace Eyre Woodhead. With more than 120 years’ experience, we are a well-known, trusted service provider with a reputation for innovation and excellence.

Each year we support more than 600 adults with learning disabilities, autism and mental health issues in Brighton & Hove and West Sussex. We empower people to make the most of their ability, increase their independence and live happy, healthy lives.

We make sure that people with learning disabilities and autism have the right information about housing, health and wellbeing, support and activities, money and work.

We also want to make sure that we celebrate what is good in people’s lives and elevate their expectations.
