About Us

Prior’s Court is a registered charity providing education and residential care for young people with complex autism, aged 5-25. Set within a 50 acre site in Berkshire, we have extensive bespoke facilities to help our young people to be healthy, happy, more independent and have the opportunity to work.

What it’s like to work for us?

We’re looking for caring, patient, fun people from all backgrounds to join our teams working with young people with complex autism. Whether you have experience in a care environment, or don’t have experience but have a passion to help transform the lives of our young people – we’d love to hear from you.

For those who are not experienced in care, we offer a comprehensive, free training programme including
hands-on working alongside experienced and senior team members. We have colleagues who completely changed their career to come and work with us and now thoroughly enjoy how rewarding it can be supporting our young people.

For support workers (a role we call an Autism Practitioner), we operate a rota based on a rolling pattern of early and late shifts throughout 52 weeks of the year, including weekends and public holidays. Our early shift starts at 7am and finishes at 4pm and our late shift starts at 2pm and finishes at 10pm.

Whatever the time, whatever the place, an Autism Practitioner has an opportunity to transform the life
of a young person with complex autism. It will be challenging but so rewarding.
