About Us

NMSB is a family owned business which prides itself in providing a quality level of service to the local community. The company has existed since 1936 supplying building materials and services in the Hampshire and East Dorset area. The business operates a long term relationship with customers, stakeholders and the community as a whole, based on environmental, safety and quality systems. To help achieve this, we encourage our employees to get involved in all our systems so that we are able to continually improve our processes to ensure we remain cost effective and efficient. Our constant aim is to provide a safe and healthy environment for all our staff, customers and stakeholders and ensure we remain compliant with all the latest regulatory legislation.

It is our future aim to secure the position of our Group Companies for the supply of Primary and Recycled aggregates, concrete and waste services. We intend to do this by investing in key modern processes to ensure we are moving forward in a mature and innovative way.

We have sites located in South Hampshire and East Dorset supplying a range of aggregates, concrete and building materials.

The type of jobs we recruit for?

Drivers
Our transport planning team are based from the transport hub in New Milton. We currently have over 40 drivers in the team who in the most work out of New Milton but not all, and get to visit most of our sites across Hampshire and Dorset throughout their working week.

Site Based Roles
Most of our operational roles are based at one of our eight sites across Hampshire and Dorset. These sites include our busy depots, concrete operations, waste recycling centre and quarries

Head Office Roles
Predominantly our office based staff work within our Head Office in New Milton. However, we do have offices at our Recycling Centre in Pennington and we have many employees that work flexibly across our sites or from home. We are also in the process of re-developing our Builder’s Merchants in New Milton and opening a new branch in Bournemouth, both of which have office space.
