About Us

New Prospects supports people with a learning disability in all aspects of their lives, from getting up in the morning to getting on in life. As a support worker we'll match you with someone we support who shares your interests and passions, you’ll be interviewed by the people we support. We support people with everything from personal care to volunteering and from staying in touch with family and friends to setting up a social enterprise. At New Prospects you can really play your part in helping someone live the life they choose.

About New Prospects.

We’ve been supporting people for more than 25 years, we are small, local and well connected. Our last two CQC inspection have rated us outstanding. New Prospects is a Cooperative and Community Benefit Society which means we are ‘not for profit’ we only exist to help people live good lives.

What it’s like to work for us?

Why work for us?

Competitive Salary - we pay support workers £10.25 - £10.45 per hour, Lead Support Workers £12.00 per hour. We pay an hourly rate for sleep in shifts and if you do overtime - we’ll pay you an extra £1 per hour.

Looking After You - we have a pension and sickness scheme and you’ll get extra holidays the longer you work for us. You’ll receive regular supervison and encouragement and be part of an organisation that celebrates the achievements of the people we support and staff throughout the year and at an annual awards ceremony.

Helping you be your best - We have excellent face to face training and a development programme for career progression (our Head of Services started with us as a Support Worker). You’ll be supported in your day-to-day work by a senior support worker and our managers are always on hand.
