About Us

Malachi is an innovative specialist therapeutic family support organisation founded in 1991. We work across the Midlands and Staffordshire providing support in over 300 schools and community settings to parent/carers, young people and professionals through a range of counselling based therapeutic interventions to create lasting change.

What it’s like to work for us?

No two days will be the same, as you will be working within different schools or community settings throughout the week, meeting with families to provide a package of support interventions to meet their targeted needs. We empower families to support children to feel successful, happy, and fulfilled, using evidence-based interventions. Our values are at the very heart of our organisation. When you join us you will be giving the tools and support you need to do the job successfully. We believe that our Family Support Workers are our most valuable asset, and we like to ensure that you have regular breaks from what can be a demanding role, with a generous paid annual leave allowance of 45 days (inc bank hols), plus mileage expenses for travel you do visiting families. Tools are essential part of the role and when you start with us you will be supplied with touch screen laptop, mobile phone and printer. During most of your working day you will be out and about visiting families, when you are not or need to catch up on the paperwork, you have the opportunity to work from home. We are a small organisation with a big heart.
