About Us

What is JCR?

Our team members will visit clients in their homes and work with them to restore or maintain their ability to
carry out everyday tasks and activities. The aim is to help them remain in their home and stay independent. They may need our help following illness or an accident, or if they have difficulties because of a disability.

Our team will devise a short term programme designed to help you the client which may include exercises, as well as support with activities of daily living.

What it’s like to work for us?

As a Support Worker, you will assist older adults who have had a spell of illness get back to independence in their own home. Working alongside other professionals, you may initially be providing some personal care, helping with therapy exercises, and giving emotional support to help clients regain the skills and confidence they need to manage these everyday tasks themselves.

We are looking for candidates who:

Are patient, kind and caring
Have a car and the ability to meet the travel requirements of the post
Have a commitment to helping others
There are permanent contracts available ranging from 16 to 30 hours per week. You will be required to work weekends and a combination of daytime and evening shifts.
