About Us

We are a leading provider of residential childcare in Nottingham. With Outstanding Ofsted ratings for leadership and management, and either Good or Outstanding ratings for all our homes, we are dedicated to providing caring and therapeutic living environments for vulnerable young people.

We’re an ambitious company and we want to achieve the best outcome for every child and young person who comes to live with us. We guide them as they learn life skills and build social skills within a happy and safe environment. Our focus on quality of care is backed by the highest operational standards, as we bring pioneering solutions and new approaches to privately owned children’s homes.

Our close-knit team works within a structure that ensures every staff member is supported as they constantly expand their skills and experience, gaining the qualifications they need to provide a safe and empowering environment for our young people.

What it’s like to work for us?

“I’m completely brand new to children’s residential care and applied for with a few other companies but was unsuccessful, that was until I applied for Footsteps to Futures.

In my interview I was made to feel at ease and was talked through everything, it was honestly the best interview I’d ever had.

I’ve been employed by Footsteps to Futures for about 3 months now, and in those 3 months I’ve had more training than I’ve ever had in my previous jobs!

The job itself is challenging at times but so rewarding. The shifts are long hours but don’t let that put you off as you find you work less days a week and they fly by.

Being completely new, I wasn’t sure what to expect but I was made to feel really welcome, by all staff and children. I’ve worked in a couple of the homes FTF have, and everyone is lovely and super friendly, and always there to help.

Accepting the job from Footsteps to Futures was the best decision I’ve ever made and I’m loving it.”
