About Us

We’re one of the country’s largest not-for-profit organisations supporting people with learning disabilities, autism, behaviours of distress and those with complex health needs. Driven by our values, we place the people we support and their families at the heart of everything we do. We want every person we support to have a great life, with excellent outcomes. Dimensions provides person-centred support and finds the right housing for adults with learning disabilities and autism, right across the country. Our support ranges from a few hours outreach each week to intensive support for people whose behaviour is shaped by distress. We care for those with complex health needs and support many people with profound and multiple learning disabilities. We involve the people we support and their families in all aspects of their support.

Everything we do is personalised to the individual and our staff are ambitious for each and every person we support. We believe passionately that most people do best in supported living environments.

Our vision, quite simply, is of ‘Better Lives for More People’ – the people we do and will support, their families and other significant relationships, the wider sector through our sharing of our learning and, critically, our dedicated colleagues who are so committed to proving that life can get better.

Our mission – the part we play in delivering our vision – is to provide high quality personalised support for people with learning disabilities and autism, helping them to be actively engaged with, and contribute to, their communities.

The type of jobs we recruit for?

The people we support and the people who work with us are at the heart of everything we do. To recruit Support Workers we use a values led recruitment process. This means we’re looking at who you are rather than what you bring. We want to make sure you connect with, and have similar interests to, the person you might support.
