About Us

Coquet Trust are a registered charity that provide support to people with a learning disability to enable them to live as independently as possible. We have grown steadily ever since launch and now provide support to over 150 people and work with four local authority areas in the north east.

We believe the people we support should live a full and meaningful life where they are listened to and valued. We will work innovatively to ensure that only the support that needed to promote your independence is given. Support Workers with the Coquet Trust have a varied role that makes a real difference to the lives of individuals we support.

Opportunity to earn up to £22,500 (including additional shifts and sleep-ins).

You would work with people with a range of disabilities, being responsible for:

• Encouraging independence
• Supporting people to participate in hobbies, activities and the community
• Supporting people to manage their health needs and liaising with health professionals.
• Supporting people to manage their own homes.
• Developing the life skills of the people we support
• Assisting with personal finances
• Support with personal hygiene
• Supporting with medication
• Providing advice and problem solving when required.
