For over a hundred years the Royal Air Force has defended the skies of Britain and projected Britain’s power and influence around the world. Today the RAF is engaged in 15 missions on 4 continents in 22 countries.

Our structure is dedicated to giving you responsibility. If you need to make sure 200 personnel are fed in less than two hours or are responsible for the maintenance of 20 typhoon jets you will be given these opportunities earlier than in any civilian career.

The type of jobs we recruit for?

We have over 50 roles including 23 apprenticeships. The training is predominantly practical and you receive a civilian recognised qualification for your training. The roles and opportunities are vast and include; Logistical trades, Technical trades, Force Protection, Intelligence, Air Operations Support, and Aircrew.
