Mark Jarvis is the Midlands and South Yorkshire's largest independent bookmaker. Our company was incorporated more than 55 years ago and has its Head Office in Leicester. As a well known brand in the local community, serving a loyal customer base in our retail betting shops, we excel at and always strive to provide the very best customer service. With many employees having decades of employment with us, our betting shops have a pleasant, friendly atmosphere where our knowledgeable staff know many customers by first name.

Our company offers an enjoyable, customer focused working environment where you will be encouraged to engage with customers and build relationships with customers and colleagues alike. We have just under 200 employees ranging from recent University Graduates to members of staff with decades of loyal service. Most of our shops are open between 9am and 8:30pm Monday to Saturday and 11am to 6pm on Sunday. We are open on bank holidays. A typical weekly rota will be made up of a combination of shifts that may vary from week to week. Although most of our staff work in a single shop, on occasion there may be a need to work in different shops in the area. You will liaise with your Manager or Area Manager on training and rota planning, and also for guidance on how to best promote the shop and help drive demand and profitability.
