About Us

From up in the North, to down in the South, Compass Children’s Homes and Schools provide high quality care and education for children who experience a range of behavioural and emotional difficulties. The young people in our care often come to us with an empty tool box, and we help to provide them with the tools they need throughout their lives. We pride ourselves not only on our ‘Outstanding’ & ‘Good’ Ofsted ratings, but by the outcomes and achievements of the children we care for.

We understand that a child’s emotional development can depend on their age, ability and experience, but most importantly the access to a significant person in their life. A person who can help shape their future.

Using life skills, you will have the opportunity to make a huge difference within a child’s life. Helping them to overcome any difficulties or disadvantages they may face – allowing them to strengthen their future. You will meet a variety of children and young people, some of whom may require high levels of supervision and support. They may also require your guidance within education, training and employment.

You will have a great work/life balance. Our rota pattern which includes some evenings and weekends ensures consistency for the children and young people whilst providing you with flexibility and the means for training and progression.

The type of jobs we recruit for?

We want people with a real passion for providing children and young people with the best possible life experiences. Our jobs range from Residential Support Worker jobs, through to Registered Managers and Service Managers.
